The Premier Collar "Your Dog's Neck's Best Friend"

With a lead or with your hand, the Premier Collar tightens to give greater control and reduces the risk of escape. Because it offers limited closure, it's safer than a traditional choke collar. It's easy to see why so many people who've tried the Premier Collar have never gone back to a buckle or choke. You and your dog will love it too -in fact, we guarantee it.

Better than a buckle

When a standard buckle collar is adjusted for the comfort of your dog, many breeds can ‘back out’ and escape if suddenly frightened- leaving you with an empty collar dangling at the end of the lead, and a potentially lost or injured pet. When fitted more snugly, a buckle collar is often uncomfortable for your dog and can mat his coat or produce bald spots from rubbing.

Safer than a Choker

When pulled, a choke chain continues to tighten around your dogs neck, restricting both breathing and blood supply. This doesn’t necessarily stop your dog pulling, in fact some dogs would pull until they fell over! Choke chains do exactly what it says on the tin! Choke chains should never be left on your pet when not in use with a lead

The Premier Collar

This collar is designed with your dogs comfort and safety in mind. When used with a lead or when you grasp the smaller loop like a handle, it gives you greater control with the safety of limited closure. The looser fit reduces matting and bald spots, and is more comfortable for your pet. The adjustability means that every dog gets a custom fit- great for growing pups or dogs with seasonal coat changes.

Choosing the right size

Unlike other collars, the measurement taken for the Premier Collar is at the top of the neck directly behind the ears (measurement A on diagram) This corresponds with the size of the collar in the closed position, so it is not necessary to ‘add inches’ For example, if your dog measures 14 inch directly behind the ears, choose a medium collar. Once you’ve selected the proper size, simply place the larger opening over your dogs head, Adjust to fit by pushing the nylon through the slide. When tightened with a lead or by grasping the smaller nylon loop like a handle, the two metal rings should touch directly behind your dog’s ears.

Attach tags to these rings rather than the D ring. The smaller nylon loop will lie flat after a few days of wear.
